If you live in an area with really hard water that can leave spots, I would use a final rinse of distilled water after I got the soap off. I found a gallon of distilled water would last about 20 models before I needed to replace it. On light colors the spots will show up again several months after you are done.

Bob Date: 02/13/05 19:27 Re: cleaning before clear coat Author: GLC If you use any of the decal solvents properly the decals won't wash off. Part of the reason you want to wash the models is to get the excess solvent off.
