I like the pilot. That will be very useful for clearing snow and ice off the right of way. No that ice and snow is a big problem for Tri-Rail....

Hope it works better than the two Republic RL1s that SEPTA had rebuilt by Brookville. SEPTA also has two former Milwaukee Road SW1200s that were refurbished by Chrome Locomotive in the late 80s and rebuilt as BL15s by Brookville. Hope they've learned how to have the locomotives make transition since then. Not a lot I can say about the quality of their work. We got better service out of a 40-something-year-old MLW RS-18 owned by West Chester Railroad and leased by SEPTA during slippery-rail season in the fall.
