#6 Dinner Time ?

If train is on time, is Dinner served before #6 gets to Denver at 6:38 PM?

Dinner normally starts at either 5:00 or 5:30.  Keep in mind the train sits in Denver for 30 minutes for servicing, so you don't have to be off until the 7:10 departure.

Not much of an issue if No.6 is runing a couple hours late.

I plan to skip the free dinner on the 2nd day and instead have a nice dinner on arrival in Denver on my planned trip in September.  I figure 4 meals on Amtrak will be enough.

I don't get it. You maligned Amtrak two days ago as "a third world service." Yet you're going to take a vacation in September on said "third world service?" Why the F would you do that?

Probably because he likes trains, and like any good addict, it's hard to stay away, no matter how bad it may be for you.
