Need a Wing Man ?
Author: slug96

The sound of the quietness of downtown Truckee at sunrise is broken by the sounds of two of UP's finest. An ES44AC and a SD70M tackle the monstrous grade of Donner Pass. The roaring sound of the GE and EMD motors can tell you that they're giving it all they got, try to pull this 6,300 foot long train over the High Sierras to the ports of Oakland. This is mountain railroading!

Thanks for looking!

Nice catch with the bird. And I agree, hearing a train climbing the grade in the morning is sweet bliss

It was just luck, the eagle just happen to fly through the shot at the right time.

A little envy here, because it's usually the turkey vultures which show up for my photo shoots!
