Model Railroading > ESU LokSound Select HelpDate: 02/23/14 09:59 ESU LokSound Select Help Author: CCT41 Hey guys,
I have stuffed several LokSound Select, Select Direct, and Loksound 4.0 decoders into my Australian diesel fleet, with models from Austrains and Auscision Models. All of these models run backwards as compared to my US build models and models with factory installed encoders. What is the best or easiest way to make the Aussie models behave like the USA models? Thanks in advance, John Date: 02/23/14 10:07 Re: ESU LokSound Select Help Author: markloos Have you tried increasing the value of CV29 by 1? i.e. if cv29=34, increase it to 35.
Hope this helps. Mark <>< Date: 02/23/14 14:04 Re: ESU LokSound Select Help Author: RioGrandeFan Either increase CV 29 by a value of 1 OR you can reverse the motor wires on the decoder directly.
Reversing the motor wires is the better option so that the lights aren't messed up or have to be reprogrammed. Funny that all the Aussie locos I have installed DCC in so far, run opposite direction from the USA models.
