At this Post Time, as it now stands:  Blue Unit Circus Train (BUCT) Power from Richmond VA to Washington DC - NS 9369 (C449W) and NS 6097 (SD40-2) - not yet officially confirmed.
Some of the rigging/equipment for the Blue Unit Show will be trucked over-the-road (OTR) to WDC, which may effect the loadout of the CT in Richmond VA.  Departure time out of Richmond VA yet to be officially confirmed.

As of 06:40 AM EDT - no incoming data being received as to the status of the BUCT at Richmond VA.

DISREGARD THE BELOW INFORMATION

A REMINDER from a previous post by Rhett (rbx551985) for thoes who are following the BUCT
BUCT will depart Richmond, Virginia forever, on Norfolk Southern rails, heading for their next venue, Washington, D.C., via Robious Village, Amelia, Burkeville, Appomattox, Lynchburg, Charlottesville, Culpepper, Manassas and Alexandria.  REASON:  NS has agreed with Ringling' that the track connecting NS to CSX at Rocketts Junction. are WAY TOO TIGHT for long passenger cars and TTX-type flats to negotiate.

EDITED FOR:  TO ALL who have read this POST - DISREGARD THE ABOVE INFORMATION - As always a new ROUTE has been chosen as of this time - 09:45 AM EDT

Currently the BUCT will pull from Richmond down to Burkeville and over to Crewe, then move east back to Collier Yard and then move north thru Richmond, Fredericksburg, Alexandria to Benning Yard Facility at WDC
This may also be subject to change as operating officials continue to discuss the move of the BUCT out of Richmond VA.

They may not bring it into No VA until after commuter rush hour.  :-(

this is basically whats on our transportation order that was made Saturday. should be in Burkeville for a crew change at 13:00 IF we run on time (and we all know how that can be)

Just coming into Burkeville hit a low bed tractor tailer at crossing 1:00

Received same data - BUCT at a stand still for now until investigation is completed - Burkeville VA..

Crew and RBBB personnel OK?  Everything stay on the rails?  Truck Driver OK?

Yes as far as we could see. Train was on the track. Didn't seem like anyone was hurt that we could see. Truck was straddling the track and stuck driver was not in the truck.

It will be dark before this train gets to Richmond.

From The Richmond Times Dispatch  Short story about accident with a few pictures. Looks like trailer was empty.

we are in Crewe now. looks like they are switching which ends the engines are on. gave an anoumcemnt about running flats forwards for a while and possibly having a rough ridea cause of it.

Yes, about 50 miles east from Crewe to just south of Petersburg where they will runaround again and head north.

Any updates on location and time through ACCA?

Has permission to enter collier yard, and run around train, but CSX is a parking lot

CSX is still backed up all over the east from the backlog of trains that were stacked up not being able to get through RIchmond VA after the Friday derailment took out much of West Acca Wye.  'Track was back in service by Sunday.....
